Based on my experience and study of “The first 40 days”, known also as the 4th trimester, it is my opinion that the first few weeks include the most vulnerable days, where a new mother is finding her feet with all things related to caring for her newborn, and on her own recovery from her birth.
I offer customisable care packages that nurture the mother with empathy and expertise during this pivotal time, helping to ensure a smooth transition and one of confident recovery.
Bringing my training in nursing and midwifery and considerable experience as a postnatal care consultant, you will receive personalised care focused on postnatal recovery and understanding your newborn, giving the best possible start to your journey as a new mother.

“Sandi was a huge support for us during the 6 days post Lola’s birth. Having no parents or family to assist we were very nervous going home with only 4 days of knowledge from the hospital. Within a short space of time we felt comfortable with Sandi and saw her as a 3rd mother. She helped to reassure us when we were iffy about anything and could provide options from her experience as a mother and a health professional. She also was good to have as support when we were visited by a number of midwives and other carers who were all providing differing opinions on what to do and what was ultimately right or wrong. Sandi helped provide some background and sense to everyone being on a different page.
Having someone as kind, caring and knowledgeable relieved a lot of anxiety for us, so we could really enjoy the first couple of weeks with our daughter. The time was pleasant and something to cherish but we can so easily see how it could have been different without Sandi’s support. She also put up with our household being a little crazy with a couple of dogs barking up a storm! By the end of the 6 days it really felt like she was an extension of our family.
We can’t speak highly enough of Sandi as a person and as a professional.”
