My passion is supporting new mothers in the vitally important transition from the excitement of expecting to the realities of caring for a newborn.

I bring my extensive knowledge and expertise from my nursing and midwifery training and considerable experience as a postnatal care provider.

Why Do I Need Postnatal Care?

Starting out as a new mother with a newborn baby is a vitally important journey.

You have most likely heard the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”. I believe this rings true when beginning life with a new baby. While it’s wonderful to have the support of family and friends, busy lives mean this isn’t always available or enough. I am here to support you to have the best experience possible.

The first few weeks of life with a newborn are uniquely precious, and I feel strongly about the importance of providing a restful and un-rushed atmosphere. This will encourage the physiology of lactation and healing of the mother’s body, post birth. When a new mother is well supported and relaxed, the bonding process with her newborn will, in turn, be enhanced.

I graduated in 2016 with a BHSc. degree predominantly in midwifery, with clinical practice and papers in post-natal areas. Since then I have had the pleasure of fitting into the role of supporting many new mums, as a Postnatal Professional.
